History

Flaherty was founded in 1991 as a litigation firm focused on hard work and results. Today, we are the largest litigation firm in West Virginia and have grown to offer corporate and transactional services to assist our clients better.

Over the years, we have built a solid reputation as an efficient, client-focused law firm. What does that mean? It means actively cultivating an innovative, energetic environment centered on listening to our clients closely and building forward-thinking case strategies to achieve their goals.

We’ve managed to stay true to our roots – never compromising our core values while working hard to establish, build and grow relationships with clients, attorneys on both sides of the bar and with communities across our state. We are proud of our history and unique story and put that experience to work for every client we serve.
