Overview

Growing up in a small town, Alexis Moore noticed the absence of female legal role models in her community, which made her determined to fill that gap. Today, Alexis is an associate in Flaherty's Charleston office, where she works to protect her clients' legal interests and reputations.

Her practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including mass tort matters involving asbestos, toxic tort, and environmental exposure claims. Alexis represents manufacturers, suppliers, and premises owners in high-stakes, multi-party litigation, developing strategic defenses in cases involving alleged occupational and take-home exposures.

She also represents healthcare professionals and insurers in medical malpractice defense and insurance coverage disputes, as well as corporations in a broad range of liability matters. Alexis approaches each case with meticulous preparation and a strategic focus on minimizing risk, controlling exposure, and positioning her clients for favorable and sustainable outcomes.

In addition to her litigation practice, Alexis assists individuals and families with estate planning matters, including the preparation of wills and trusts and the administration of estates. She is committed to guiding clients through significant personal decisions with clarity, efficiency, and confidence.

Alexis approaches every case with the same dedication and integrity that have defined her career from the start. "Clients can trust me," she says, "because I bring the values of trust and commitment that I learned growing up in a close-knit community to my practice every day."

Outside of the office, Alexis enjoys reading, traveling, baking, and gardening. She is an enthusiastic supporter of both the Herd and the Buckeyes.
