Shannon Louk, Director of Business Development, leads Flaherty’s business development strategy, firm branding initiatives, strategic partnerships, public relations, and external communications efforts. With more than 20 years of experience in marketing, media planning, public relations, and business development, including 12 years dedicated to the legal profession, Shannon brings a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities law firms face in today’s evolving marketplace.
She holds a B.B.A. in Management from Marshall University, with concentrations in Communications and Economics. A native of the Kanawha Valley, Shannon is known for building meaningful relationships, driving growth initiatives, and helping attorneys translate their experience into compelling client-focused strategies.
Shannon is also deeply engaged in the evolving intersection of artificial intelligence and the legal industry, focusing on how emerging technologies are reshaping business development, client engagement, communications, and law firm operations. She works closely with attorneys to identify innovative, practical AI-driven strategies that enhance efficiency, strengthen client relationships, and position the firm ahead of rapidly changing market expectations. Shannon is passionate about helping legal professionals embrace innovation while maintaining the high-touch service and strategic counsel clients expect from a modern law firm.

Outside the office, Shannon can often be found in the mountains snowboarding and mountain biking with her husband and daughter.
