Alysson B. Fleenor

Alysson B. Fleenor is an associate in Flaherty’s Charleston office. She works with clients on a range of commercial matters, bringing a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to each engagement.

Aly’s interest in the law was shaped by a strong commitment to service and advocacy. She began her legal career practicing family law, where she worked closely with clients navigating complex and often emotional situations. That experience strengthened her ability to communicate clearly, manage sensitive issues, and approach legal problems with care and practicality.

At Flaherty, Aly focuses her practice on commercial and real estate transactions and litigation, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy matters, and corporate transactions. She is committed to understanding her clients’ goals and contributing thorough, well-prepared legal work at every stage of a matter.

Aly earned her Juris Doctor from the West Virginia University College of Law, where she served as President of the Student Bar Association and held multiple leadership roles. During law school, she was recognized for her academic achievement, leadership, and dedication to community service and pro bono work.

Outside the office, Aly enjoys cheering on Marshall and West Virginia University football, volunteering as a cheer coach, and spending time with her dog, Georgia.
