Overview
Ashley O'Connor serves as the firm’s Human Resources Director. Ashley manages the firm's people function, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, and overall HR strategy for the business.
She is a Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resources Management, holds a B.A. in Counseling from Bob Jones University, and an HR Generalist Certificate from Greenville Technical College. In addition, Ashley has an Adult Mental Health First Aid Certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, Work@Health Employer Training Certification from the CDC, and a Career Coach Certification from the International Association of Professions Career College. She was awarded The State Journal’s Generation Next 40 Under 40 for 2020 and earned the Competent Communicator and Competent Leader award from Toastmasters International in 2016.
Ashley was born and raised in St. Albans, West Virginia, but recently returned to Charleston after spending several years away in Greenville, South Carolina. She has found her passion in Human Resources for over ten years and is a member of her local SHRM chapter, Charleston, WV SHRM, where she currently serves as President.
In her free time, Ashley is actively involved in her local church, serving on the worship team. She enjoys traveling, entertaining family and friends in her home, and spending quality time with her husband, Jonathan, her son, Zachary, and her Shih Tzu, Abraham.
