Overview
Lexus D. Allen is an attorney in our Morgantown office whose practice spans a broad range of defense matters, including insurance defense, civil rights claims, wrongful death, deliberate intent, employment law, and construction litigation. She represents clients in complex disputes and approaches each matter with a strong commitment to achieving efficient, results-driven outcomes.
Before transitioning to civil practice, Lexus served as a public defender, where she handled a wide array of criminal matters and developed significant courtroom and trial experience. That background informs her advocacy today, providing her with a practical, trial-ready perspective when defending clients in high-stakes litigation.
Lexus is known for her client-focused approach, treating each case with the same care, diligence, and personal investment she would expect for herself. She has secured favorable jury verdicts and successfully resolved matters through dispositive motions, and is driven by a desire to help clients navigate challenging situations and achieve outcomes they can trust.
In addition to her practice, Lexus is actively involved in the legal community. She serves as Secretary of the Monongalia County Bar Association, is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia, and contributes to the development of future attorneys as a coach for the WVU College of Law Lugar Trial Team.
